Faculty of Mining, Ecology, Process Control and Geotechnology
Faculty has a profiled education both in traditional mining disciplines as well as in attractive and desired study programs in the fields of geodesy, geographical information systems, geology, geotechnologies, environmental technologies, extracting and processing raw materials, informatization and process control, industrial logistics, management of Earth´s resources, the use of alternative energy resources, rescue, fire and safety technologies, but also in the development of geotourism.
Faculty of Mechanical Engineering
The Faculty of Mechanical Engineering is one of three founding faculties of the Technical University of Kosice. Over recent years it has developed into a recognized scientific and educational institution, both at home and abroad.
The 22 study programs of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering belong to the Top 100 most promising study programs in the Slovak Republic with the largest graduate employment rate. The figure is based on the survey of the national project called Universities as Engines of the Knowledge Society. In 90% of study programs offered by the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering the students can obtain motivational scholarships.

Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Informatics
The main objective of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Informatics is to provide higher education based on creative scientific research, particularly in research areas such as computer science, cybernetics and artificial intelligence, telecommunications, electronics, electrical engineering, automotive electronics and electrical power engineering.

Faculty of Economics
The faculty currently provides education to more than 1,000 students in full-time and part-time. The studies are fully accredited in all three levels of programs offered. After completing the three-year bachelor’s degree studies the students have the opportunity to obtain a bachelor’s degree (Bc.) or by completing the two-year master’s studies the students can obtain the Master´s degree (Ing.). At the third level of studies the faculty provides postgraduate degree in Finance, Spatial and Regional Economics. The Faculty of Economics of the Technical University of Kosice is known as a progressive faculty which puts emphasis on quality education, friendly environment with a wide range of mobility for students and a focus on foreign languages.

Faculty of Civil Engineering
The faculty offers education in bachelor, master and doctoral level studies in the field of architectural engineering, structural and transportation engineering, realization of transportation structures, technology and management in civil engineering, and environmental structures. The main objective of the Faculty of Civil Engineering is to collect, develop and disseminate knowledge and results of science and technology, and thus help scientific and technological development of civil engineering for sustainable future and quality of life. This objective of the faculty is being fulfilled by means of professional teaching and research activities in the laboratory centres of excellence.

Faculty of Aeronautics
The main objective of the Faculty of Aeronautics is to contribute to the achievement of the Technical University, in particular in the field of aeronautical technology, aeronautics and aerospace. The most important part of its commitment is to provide, organize and ensure higher education and lifelong learning and to implement creative scientific research in aerospace engineering, avionics, construction, repair and operation of aeronautical technology, management and provision of air transport and related issues.
